Terms of stay

These terms apply to bookings made on this website with Prabhu's Place (“Bykerstops”, “we”), Near the Botanical Gardens, Charring Cross, Ooty, Tamil Nadu.

Your booking

• A booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. Online payments hold your beds for a few minutes while you pay; if the hold runs out first, the beds go back on sale.
• Dorm beds are sold per person; private rooms are sold per room. Prices are per night before GST; every total shown includes GST at the applicable rate.
• Each guest must be 18 or over, or travelling with a parent or guardian.

Arrival and departure

• Check in from 12:00; check out by 10:00. The gate locks at 23:00 — tell us if you’ll be later.
• Every guest shows government photo ID at check-in. Foreign nationals show a passport and valid visa; we file Form C as required by law.

Parking

Guests’ bikes park free in our gated, CCTV-covered yard, in the slots held for your booking. We take reasonable care of the yard, but bikes and gear are left at the owner’s risk except where loss or damage is caused by our negligence. Keep valuables with you.

House rules

• Respect quiet hours and other guests in shared dorms.
• No smoking indoors. No illegal substances.
• Guests are responsible for damage they cause to the property.
• We may end a stay without refund for behaviour that puts guests or staff at risk.

Payments and cancellation

Online payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details. Cancellation and refunds follow our cancellation policy.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law. Otherwise our liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid for it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of the Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu.
